Yarden Romann, a German citizen, her husband Alon and their three-year-old daughter Geffen were kidnapped from Kibbutz Be'eri by Hamas. Geffen and Alon were saved after the three escaped from the vehicle in which they were taken to the border with Gaza. We lost contact with Yarden at this point. Also missing is Carmel Gat, Yarden’s sister-in-law, who was kidnapped from Kibbutz Be'eri by Hamas as well. Her mother, Kinneret Gat, was kidnapped and later on it was confirmed that she was murdered by Hamas.

We lost contact with our parents at 10:07 AM after Ohad messaged that they were captured.
An hour later, we saw a photo of him in Gaza on Telegram. Two days later, on Facebook, we found a video of Raz surrounded by terrorists, being led into a Hamas vehicle.
Raz has an autoimmune disease and takes medication so we are very worried about her health and well being.

Itai Svirsky (38) was born and raised on Kibbutz Be’eri and now lives in Tel Aviv. He holds both Israeli and German citizenship. Itai came to visit his parents on the Kibbutz for the Sukkot holiday. Tragically, on October 7th, both of his parents, Orit and Rafi Svirsky, were brutally murdered by terrorists during the massacre. Following the attack, Itai was kidnapped from his mother’s home and taken hostage to Gaza.
